This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using CircuitCapture (a product of Fieldware Group Ltd). By using CircuitCapture, you agree to comply with this policy.
Permitted use
CircuitCapture is designed for use by registered UK electricians to generate job briefs, estimates, and records of electrical work. You may use CircuitCapture for any lawful purpose consistent with this intended use.
Prohibited use
You must not use CircuitCapture to:
- Produce fraudulent, misleading, or intentionally inaccurate documents
- Fabricate job records, scheme registration details, or certification references
- Impersonate another electrician or scheme-registered contractor
- Generate documents for work not actually carried out
- Process personal data of third parties without a lawful basis
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the CircuitCapture service
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
Certification documents
CircuitCapture does not produce Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs), EICRs, or Minor Works Certificates. You must not use CircuitCapture outputs as a substitute for required certification documents under Part P of the Building Regulations or your competent person scheme obligations.
Consequences of breach
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if we believe you have violated this policy. We may also report serious violations to relevant authorities.
