CircuitCapture works through WhatsApp — no app to download, no account portal to log in to. Your first job takes about two minutes to set up.
How to start
Add the CircuitCapture number to your contacts: +44 7868 143467. Open WhatsApp and send a message to start.
You'll receive a welcome message with a short confirmation and your free trial details. From that point, the process is:
- Do your pricing visit as normal
- After the visit, open WhatsApp and record a voice note to CircuitCapture
- Describe what you saw — the job, the address, scope of works, anything relevant to the estimate
- Send it
- Within 60 seconds, you'll receive your job brief PDF and estimate PDF back
What to say in the voice note
Talk naturally. CircuitCapture is designed for the way sparks actually speak on site — not formal dictation. For example:
"42 Elm Road, London. Consumer unit replacement. Current board is a 1980s fuseboard, no RCDs. Customer wants full upgrade, 18-way RCBO board. House is a three-bed semi, about 90 square metres. Estimate I'm thinking around twelve to fourteen hundred plus VAT. Customer's name is Sarah."
That's enough. CircuitCapture will structure the job brief, extract the key details, and format the estimate.

Your scheme number
The first time you use CircuitCapture, you'll be asked for your competent person scheme registration number (NICEIC, NAPIT, or SELECT). This is stored once and added to every document automatically.
After your trial
Your first three jobs are free — no card required. After that, you can subscribe monthly (£12.99/month) or annually (£129/year). You'll be prompted at the end of your trial with a link to subscribe.
